A living altar of blooms, scent, and sound, honoring the layered stories of Black women, past and present.
Light & Creation Studio exists to illuminate the stories, beauty, and resilience of Black women through art and design. Inspired by the Creator who formed the world out of love, my mission is to reflect that same love, creating with intention, boldness, and reverence for the sacredness of each life.
I envision a world where creative expression becomes a form of healing, advocacy, and worship. A sanctuary where art doesn’t just decorate, it testifies. My work sheds light on the unseen, uplifts the marginalized, and declares joy as a form of resistance. In every brushstroke, I want to echo the truth: we were created from love, for love.

At the heart of this experience is the art.
“Where Flowers Testify” is a sacred unveiling of Light & Creation Studio, a debut collection of original painted works by Mika Orr, brought to life through immersive storytelling, space design, and sensory ritual.
Each piece will be paired with a curated floral installation, not as decoration, but as a living extension of the art. The flowers serve as sacred accents, echoing the themes, emotions, and narratives held within each painting.
This is not a sales event.
It’s an intentional brand moment.
